THE INFLUENCE OF INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERISTICS AND THE WORK ENVIRONMENT ON WORK PRODUCTIVITY OF THE MOVING MACHINERY PART OF EMPLOYEES IN. POSCO KRAKATAU IN CILEGON

Abstract

The background of this study is work productivity employees Moving Machinery at PT. Krakatau Posco in Cilegon tend to decline thought to be caused low individual characteristics and work environment. The objective of this research to determine about influence individual characteristics and work environment partial and simultaneously toward work productivity employees Moving Machinery at PT. Krakatau Posco in Cilegon. The research method by researchers is using quantitative method. Population is employees at Moving Machinery at PT. Krakatau Posco in Cilegon amounted to 65 employee and sample is 65 employee, while the sampling technique used in this study is using saturated sampling. Data analysis technique used in this research are validity test, reliability test, classic asumption, coefficien determination, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis test. The results of research there is a significant influence between individual characteristics toward work productivity and there is a significant influence between work environment toward work productivity. While simultaneously there is a significant influence between individual characteristics and work environment toward work productivity.
