MATHEMATICS RESILIENCE : PROBLEMS AND ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah dan menyediakan pilihan solusi bagi pembaca terkait mathematical resilience siswa. Siswa yang memiliki mathematical resilience yang tinggi yakin bahwa belajar matematika membutuhkan kerja keras. Mereka yakin bahwa mereka tidak sendiri. Dukungan belajar dapat mereka temukan dari guru, orang tua dan teman-teman. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dimana penelitian ini memanfaatkan data kualitatif dan dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah dua puluh tiga siswa kelas tujuh di satu kelas di Sulawesi Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan focus group discussion (FGD) menggunakan zoom dan telepon selular, peneliti sebagai moderator jalannya diskusi. Analisis selama penelitian dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman meliputi tiga unsur yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan Hasil studi dapat digunakan sebagai referensi bagi pembaca untuk mengenal, meningkatkan dan menuntaskan masalah tentang mathematical resilience siswa.
